Zena has over 30 years of experience as a practising physiotherapist, specialising in treating people with musculo-skeletal conditions. She has as particular expertise in spinal problems.

In addition to her clinical work, Zena has lectured and been involved with education at post-graduate level.

As appointed Chair of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, Zena oversaw the launch of the first Master's degree course in Europe for Manipulative Studies. She represented her profession on the European Education Committee of The International Federation of Manual Therapists, as well as lecturing nationally and internationally.

Zena negotiated the launch of an international scientific and peer-reviewed journal, with contributors from a range of scientific disciplines and now subscribed to worldwide by several thousand clinicians.

In 1997 she was co-founder of The Medico-Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, and is the present Chair of this group. She also lectures to both lawyers and physiotherapists on medico-legal issues. Zena has also been a visiting lecturer at Master 's degree level in this field, and is recognised as an Expert Witness for complex High Court civil cases, in addition to criminal cases across the United Kingdom. She continues to act as an Expert Witness since 1988 in both civil and criminal cases.

Specialists in Musculo Skeletal Work.

One of our experts has over 30 years' experience of working as a qualified Physiotherapist, specialising in musculo skeletal conditions. He has experience in preparing medico legal reports related to claimant's post-injury or accident and their subsequent return to work.

He has worked as a Physiotherapist, and as a Therapy Manager of Physiotherapy services in the NHS, and is currently responsible for a team of approximately 30 therapy and administrative staff who provide specialist musculo skeletal services.

The other expert is similarly very experienced in this specialty. He has a long track record of specific clinical expertise, together with a very comprehensive research background.

Specialist in Spinal Cord Injury Work

Our expert is a Superintendent and Clinical Specialist Lead Physiotherapist at an internationally renowned specialist research hospital and Spinal Cord Injury Centre within the NHS. She has over 16 years experience working as a Superintendent and Clinical Specialist Lead Physiotherapist in Spinal Cord Injuries services.

She works with adults and children with spinal cord injury from the acute stage immediately post injury through early rehabilitation and onto reintegration back in the community. She also has extensive experience of peripheral nerve injury and brachial plexus management, as well as diverse skills in working with musculo-skeletal conditions.

She is actively engaged in a variety of research projects related to spinal cord injuries, and has published many articles on this subject.

Specialists in Sports Injury Work

One of our experts has over 20 years clinical experience of treating sports injuries including 12 months working at a nationally renowned NHS sports injury clinic in London. She has also undertaken extensive research in this specialty and has had several articles published in specialist journals. She has worked with a variety of local and national sports teams, including work with several British Olympic teams.

Our other expert in this area is Head Physiotherapist with a top Premier League Football Club. He has over 10 years direct experience of working with top sports people. He also lectures on this subject.
