The team is led by Zena Schofield, who has over 10 years experience of acting as an expert witness and in preparing reports for the legal profession. In 1997 Zena was co-founder of The Medico-Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, and is the present Chair of this group. She also lectures to both lawyers and physiotherapists on medico-legal issues. Zena has also been a visiting lecturer at Master 's degree level in this field, and is recognised as an Expert Witness for complex High Court civil cases, in addition to criminal cases across the United Kingdom. She has continued to act as an Expert Witness since 1988 in both civil and criminal cases.
